Make It Happen For Women: The Diary of a Job Searching Woman: Nov 2: Giving up on my Job Search.
It’s no use. No one is hiring. No one is calling. I am just about at my wits end. What is the matter with me? Why isn’t anyone calling me about a job? This job searching stuff is discouraging!
I’m gonna chuck this whole job search thing. Throw the resume out the window and just suffocate myself with chocolate. I feel like my career is spiraling downward.
I feel old and fat. Undesirable. My life as a single woman is just that…single. That means “1″. It means I’m alone.
Off to the bathtub for me. First, the pantry to where that big chocolate bar is. Don’t think I will go to work in the morning. I need a day for me.
